Want To Copy Xbox 360 Games? Here's The Easy Guide To Copying Xbox Games
By Grant L Dougan
There seems to be a lot of people interested in copying games; in fact, how to copy these game discs is one of the questions we are asked the most frequently. Now, we all know how to copy audio CDs and we do it all the time. However, can you copy games the same way; and if you can, how do you do it?

There's an easy way to get started copying games - and we'll tell you how. However, there is one thing we need to say first.

We do not encourage nor do we endorse the illegal copying of games which you do not already own. The information we're going to give you is meant to help you make backup copies of your own games. This is legal and is in fact a very good idea, since it will make sure that you still have a copy of your games in case a disc gets damaged.

So let's get started! It's simple - there's not going to be any complicated instructions or jargon here; copying games is an incredibly easy thing to do.

You might wonder why it is that you can't use your CD burning and copying program to make backup copies of your games.

There's a simple answer to this - your CD copying program doesn't have the technology

needed for copying games.

Xbox game discs are encrypted to prevent copyright infringement. This means that unless you have software installed which can get around this encryption, you won't be able to read (or copy) the data on your disc.

However, there is now software which can read these encrypted discs and let you make copies of them. When you have this software, you'll be able to get started copying games.

Once you have downloaded and installed the software, the rest is a snap. Just put the game disc in your computer and the software will read the data and make a disc image on your hard drive. Then insert a blank DVD-R and the software will burn the image to this disc!

It's so easy to do that anyone can make copies of their games.

You don't have to spend a lot of money for these programs either. The best ones available cost between $30 and $40; some companies charge more than $100, but the higher price tag doesn't mean better software in this case.

These programs allow you to start copying games. It's simple, inexpensive and will let you have backup copies of your entire game library.
